We serve over 30,000 residents on 48/96 shifts, and operate four full-time fire stations, three engine companies, one ladder, two rescue trucks, six ALS ambulances and multiple highly trained technical rescue teams, including ropes, swift water and diving.
We are a progressive and ever-growing department set in one of the most beautiful areas of the country, with 100 miles of first-class mountain biking trails, seven lakes and countless outdoor amenities that make for the perfect office space. Come see for yourself.
POLICE CAREERSThe Bella Vista Police Department offers its officers many opportunities in our city of nearly 35,000 residents — from a mountain bike team to a motorcycle unit, crisis negotiators to K9s. BVPD has something to offer all those wanting to serve this community at a higher level.
We strive to put a focus on community first. Our officers patrol to deter crime, rather than take a reactive-only response, and are encouraged to focus on creating partnerships within the community to identify problems early and work together on solutions.
