Arts Council

Created by City Ordinance # 2016-04, the Bella Vista Arts Council strives to foster a thriving arts community in Bella Vista through advocacy, appreciation, education and support. The Arts Council serves as a principal facilitator for the arts in Bella Vista and the source for guidance and recommendations to the Bella Vista Mayor and City Council.

The Arts Council consists of three members appointed by the mayor and meets monthly. Members service three-year terms. Contact the Arts Council members via email at artscouncil@bellavistaar.gov.

Arts Council goals:

Advocacy: The Bella Vista City Arts Council conveys the cultural and economic value of the arts and artists in our community.
Appreciation: The Bella Vista City Arts Council encourages the creative spirit and recognizes the arts as a vital economic and cultural force.
Education: The Bella Vista City Arts Council engages all ages in visual, performing, and literary art forms through diverse programming and community outreach.
Support: The Bella Vista City Arts Council supports and advises the Mayor and City Council regarding the implementation of public art programs and assists in locating sources of funding and sponsorship for the creative endeavors of artists and arts organization.
