The City of Bella Vista Fire and EMS Department does not collect fire subscription payments or dues of any kind, as we are a municipal agency funded by taxpayer dollars. To request a letter stating this that you can submit to your homeowners insurance company, call Amanda Esparza at 479-855-4454 or email your name and address to aesparza@bellavistaar.gov.
Fire Chief Steve Sims and Deputy Fire Chief Bryan Wolfgang command a staff of a fire inspector, administrative personnel and firefighters who also serve as medical personnel — either licensed EMTs or paramedics. A battalion chief and three captains command each of the three shifts.

The city uses state-of-the-art fire apparatuses, including a 107-foot ladder truck, a 75-foot ladder truck and Class A pumpers, and medical personnel operate six ambulances within the city.

The department’s focus remains the citizens of Bella Vista and their health and safety. We strive to assist residents by providing information and offering educational opportunities, making Bella Vista the ideal place to call home.
