Trails FAQs

Do trails close?

Bella Vista trails are open to the public every day from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Trails do not close due to weather but we ask trail users use the their best judgement when using the trails during wet, stormy or winter weather. It is possible trails may close due to construction, special events or other reasons, but the public will be given ample notice in the event of that kind of closure.

Are E-bikes allowed on the trails?

Class 1 E-bikes are allowed on Bella Vista trails. Class 1 E-bikes mean electric bicycles equipped with a motor that provides assistance only when the operator is pedaling and that ceases to provide assistance when the electric bike reaches 20 mph. No gas or other electrically powered vehicles (except maintenance or emergency vehicles) are allowed on Bella Vista trails.

How can I report hazards/maintenance concerns?

Report hazards and maintenance concerns online here, or contact the Trails Manager at trails@bellavistaar.gov.

What are the best sections to take my kids?

All trails in Bella Vista provide a fun, family-friendly experience. However, the Tweety Bird and Snowbird trails are two of our most kid-friendly trails. These trails are about 1.5 miles long each and are relatively flat and wide.

How can I get more involved with the trails?
