Door-to-Door Solicitation

Door-to-door solicitation is NOT PERMITTED between the hours of 9 p.m. and 9 a.m.

Any person wishing to conduct door-to-door selling or soliciting of goods, wares, merchandise or other things of value, except a person who offers for sale produce which he himself raised, shall obtain a license upon completion of an application form and payment of the license fee as follows:

  • $10 daily per person
  • $30 weekly per person
  • $75 monthly per person

No Solicitation notice

A posted No Solicitation sign at your residence means solicitors are not allowed on your property. Without this sign posted, it is lawful for solicitors to knock on your door. 

A No Solicitation sign does NOT apply to religious groups, the press or non-profit organizations that are protected under the First Amendment.
